The 160,000 tons/year polypropylene unit is a facility within the Qinghai Salt Lake Magnesium Industry Co., Ltd.'s integrated metal magnesium project. It uses coal as a raw material to produce ethylene and propylene through coal gasification, methanol, and DMTO (Davy Methanol to Olefins) units. The polypropylene production utilizes DOW's (Dow Chemical Company) proprietary technology. Huafu is responsible for the process package expansion, basic design, detailed design, and PC (Procurement and Construction) general contracting for the project.
